Winter Teams
Welcome to the Winter Programs that offer games
In the winter we offer teams for players who would like to play for our youth travel team (TEAM M-XIV). We also have an in-house league option for players within the winter teams who want to continue to develop and have fun!
Out winter youth travel team tryouts are the 3rd week of August for girls and the 4th week of August for boys. Practice begins the first week of November. It will offer development, games and great competition.
Our winter in-house league evaluation happens the last Friday of September and first Friday in October depending on grade level. The program begins the first week of November. It will offer development + games in a developmental enviornment.
Both programs are the right choice for your player if the following matter to you as a parent:
Development: Your player is interested in playing games but not sacrificing individual development while doing so. Practicing on ‘plays’ is important but at this age there still needs to be a huge emphasis on individual development while teaching team concepts. The M14 System was created to ensure our professional coaching staff does not lose focus during the course of the season. The point of basketball is to play in the game (we haven’t forgotten that!) but at the youth level we believe individual development has to be a priority as well.
Coaching: ALL our coaches are paid at M14Hoops (part-time or fully employed). This allows the focus to be on every player and because the focus is on each player improving. Our coaches must pass our internal training classes to be able to coach a team as well and are managed by our Directors. This allows us to trouble-shoot any issues quickly and professionally.

Youth Travel Teams
4th-8th Grade Boys & Girls
REGISTRATION IS OPEN! Perfect for families looking for professional coaching, games, development and fun! We have found a unique way to be competitive and still focus on development. We offer teams for every level player.
M14 Youth Basketball League (MYBL)
3rd-8th Grade Boys
The M14 Youth Basketball League is an in-house league for boys that runs from the beginning of November through the 2nd week of February. We offer 3 different combined grade level divisions: 3rd/4th graders, 5th/6th graders and 7th/8th graders. If your players are not interested in travel basketball but want to play games, develop, receive professional coaching and have fun the MYBL is a great option!
